LSS Standard First Aid with cpr Level-“C” RECERT

The Lifesaving Society Standard First-Aid Course includes CPR Level “C” and AED skills. This course provides comprehensive training covering all aspects of first aid and CPR. Standard First Aid is a two-day 16-hour training that is designed for those who require a more in-depth understanding of first aid including: legal implications of first aid treatment, spinal injuries, heat or cold injuries, bone and joint injuries, respiratory emergencies, circulatory emergencies, chest injuries, and medical emergencies. PULSE Lifesaving is a recognized affiliate of the Lifesaving Society. Candidates will receive their certification card directly from the Lifesaving Society upon successful completion of this course. The Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB) recognizes the Lifesaving Society's Standard and Emergency First Aid as accredited programs.

Prerequisites:

Candidates must hold current Lifesaving Society Standard First Aid (SFA) certification not more than 3 years (36 months) from the original date of issue. Certification must be from the Lifesaving Society, and not from any other agency. Candidates may only re-certify SFA once. To renew SFA a subsequent time, award holders must repeat the full SFA course. Thereafter, individuals may renew by alternating recertifications and original courses.
