PRIVATE LESSONS

Did you know that drowning is one of the leading preventable causes of death in children around the world? Learning how to swim has immunization-like benefits at preventing drowning related injury and death. Speaking of immunizations, until we have a COVID-19 vaccine, learning how to swim in the comfort of your own backyard pool is going to be your safest option. Let PULSE Lifesaving help you learn. We offer both private and family lessons all summer.

Requirements:

PULSE teaches all ages of children, youth, teens and even adults. For brand new beginners and young children, we encourage a parent to join in-water to assist hands-on with instructor guided physical support techniques to encourage social distancing recommendations during COVID-19. For all family lessons, the maximum student to instructor ratio is 4:1

Course SCHEDULE:

There are two different formats: $79 1-hour session (for family swim lessons); or $52 30-minute session (for individual private lessons)

Required Resources:

Backyard private lessons must occur in a pool of at least 5m long.

Personal use of your own flotation device (due to COVID recommendations). Either a noodle, kick board or life jacket will work just fine.

Course Location:

Currently, PULSE is only servicing homes with backyard pools in the Hamilton West—Ancaster—Dundas region.
